Your a wannabe writer passing himself of as a journalist - come on who's paid you ?????
That would only be boasting, wouldn't it? I'm not a wannabe anything mate. I do a bit of writing as a hobby still, but time was when I was keen on making a profession of it. I realised however, that the money you make simply isn't enough to live on, unless you're writing for one of the broadsheets, and those gigs only come up when someone drops dead.
I've been published in national print, and I've got a book out, which is still available in major bookstores and on amazon. If I could be arsed, I'm pretty sure I could get something again in one of the boxing publications, but, for the money they offer, and the effort it takes, I'd rather just have my own column in electronic media. Which incidentally pays a pittance, but I have total freedom to write about whatever I wish. I am sure Ian McNeilly can confirm that making a living from boxing writing alone, is rather a pipe dream for most of us.
That doesn't make my opinion any more valid than anyone elses, but the assertion that 99% of what i write is drivel, clearly isn't true. I don't know what your problem is really, coming on here slating anyone who doesn't agree with your contentious viewpoint.
