Good to see this on again this year after last years success.

So we have decided to get involved and send a team including no less that six Irish champions in an attempt to bring the cup back to Ireland, where is will be promptly melted down and sold as scrap.

I think I remember hearing Joe Cole say Martin Power was a good player on Bunce's show.

Unfortunately I think it would be like press passes for boxing websites. If the floodgates opened for forums, millions of new ones which nobody ever use would emerge and the TKO champions league would have to start pre-season qualifiers in Latvia to whittle down the numbers for the actual day.

Boxrec is well respected and I do know what you mean, but I'd seriously doubt it. We both agree Boxrec is respectable, but what isn't to say other forums think the same of themselves? If you open it up to any old forum posters, the event loses it credibility.

There is also the fact that you need some exclusivity as part of the attraction to these events. The idea is you are going to see boxers, entertainers, writers etc playing against each other - not against a group of people who type into a forum and are probably not representative of the forum anyway. Unless it was Jon Saxon, the peoples poster
