All you do with comments like this is show that you know sod all about boxing , without people like johnny many shows would gt cancelled , and without people like him debutants and novices would have to be thrown in at the deep end meaning a loss could cause them to quit the sport thinking they werent good enough when theyve possibly got the potential to be a world champion .
This is a professional sportsman who has lost 67 times from 70.
Only in boxing would this not only be tolerated, but glorified.
Johnny, call me all the names you want, no problem.
Boxing is rotten to the core, and "professionals" who get paid to lose are a symptom of that. I can tolerate it, barely, but I can't tolerate professional losers bragging about it/pretending to be anything more than they are ie. losers.

If you think boxing is rotten to the core, and can`t respect or understand the important "job" Johnny and the other jouneymen do, maybe you should follow another sport :shame:

Why bother to have the FA Cup then seeing as there are teams who have never ever got past the 3rd qualifying round?

Tennis pros lose early and move on to another event ... not many years ago Andy Murray was booked in one tournament but amazingly reached something like the last 16 in another tournament and could not get to the next event! It cost him an 'appearance' fee.
It's the same with golf.
There are hundreds of men and women in tennis and golf who make up the numbers - they never get to the last 16 or even 32 - and they are journeymen.

Adios.

Unlucky Johnny hes a slippery customer..Hopefully you can get a few more fights against journeyman&get a couple of wins on your record :TU: Spencer Fearon is always looking for 50/50fights,perhaps he can get you on one of his shows early doors against a journeyman..

I'll be honest, I was hoping for a biker of a fight ,I would have really gone for it. I'm sure the other journeyman would gone in with my attitude. I didn't want to get beaten by another journeyman & would have gone thru much pain. Youssef wouldn't brawl . Clever really. He pick pocketed me out of . it

Actually, there are tennis pros on the circuit who lose in the first round at most tournaments and there are pro golfers who fail to ever make the cut but just make up numbers, collect their cheques and fly off to the next tournament. No different to what JG does, trust me.
It's totally different, Steve - they are trying to win. They may not manage it but they keep trying.
Journeymen golfers, an odd time, enjoy their day in the sun and win a Major, or a tour event or whatever, at 500/1 odds. Johnny Greaves and the like will never, ever do anything similar; they're not even attempting to.

Please make yourself known when we are in the same place. I'll fill you in on things you obviously ain't got a clue about. I'm a gent but you , you pudendum need putting right . I've had my fill of you. I may lose most but you , I'll thumb your eye & bite your nose off

Apollo get a life. Give johnny the respect he deserves for taking fights he knows he is likely to lose. Johnny posts on here honestly and never proclaims he is the greatest. Apollo go and be a twat on another forum. Or offer johnny a match up. I'd wager £1000 that johnny would beat you then he would be correct to then boast on her. Greaves v creed come on

Apollo, you, by your posts have shown , you ain't got to grips with this boxing lark. I'm a gambling man & id put my nuts on the fact. You don't have the spuds to come down & let me show you how crap I am. I Do deserve criticism at times but you seem to have really taken a dislike to me & my comrades , it may not be your cup of tea. But we fill s gap that needs to be filled . Any time you,d like to iron this out , feel free to tell me where & when . Let's get it on !

Classy. I didn't call you names, I stated my opinion.
I'd wager £1000 that johnny would beat you then he would be correct to then boast on her
I'd wager £1,000,000 that he would. How that's relevant to me believing that professional losers harm our sport is beyond me.

So Johnny you try to win? You honestly try to win? You have managed that three times from 70 fights. I know you're not that bad, nobody could be.
I don't think you try to win. I think you try to survive, not get KO'ed, lose without getting destroyed.
Because that's what you do 90% of the time. And that's a long way from winning.

Have a view on a boxer? Express it politely? Then you better get training because the only way it can be settled is to fight him!
Pathetic.
