All you do with comments like this is show that you know sod all about boxing , without people like johnny many shows would gt cancelled , and without people like him debutants and novices would have to be thrown in at the deep end meaning a loss could cause them to quit the sport thinking they werent good enough when theyve possibly got the potential to be a world champion .

This is a professional sportsman who has lost 67 times from 70.
Only in boxing would this not only be tolerated, but glorified.

Tennis pros lose early and move on to another event ... not many years ago Andy Murray was booked in one tournament but amazingly reached something like the last 16 in another tournament and could not get to the next event! It cost him an 'appearance' fee.
It's the same with golf.
There are hundreds of men and women in tennis and golf who make up the numbers - they never get to the last 16 or even 32 - and they are journeymen.

Actually, there are tennis pros on the circuit who lose in the first round at most tournaments and there are pro golfers who fail to ever make the cut but just make up numbers, collect their cheques and fly off to the next tournament. No different to what JG does, trust me.

It's totally different, Steve - they are trying to win. They may not manage it but they keep trying.
Journeymen golfers, an odd time, enjoy their day in the sun and win a Major, or a tour event or whatever, at 500/1 odds. Johnny Greaves and the like will never, ever do anything similar; they're not even attempting to.
