Has anybody got any specific techniques for when they are doing padwork, any particular combos etc?
Obviously there is the basic ones, Jab, 1-2, 1-2 Hook etc etc but id like some ideas when it comes to adding in some defensive blocks and ducks etc.
A lot of the videos on youtube etc are rank rotten!!!

Get the trainer to throw a few back at you. 1-2. then the trainer throws a left hook you duck under and come back with a big straight right is a good one.Emmseegee wrote:Has anybody got any specific techniques for when they are doing padwork, any particular combos etc?

Obviously some flaws with this kind of padding but I like it because the puncher must have good balance at all times to complete

This is a more normal round on the pads, the guy on the video I coached from scratch... He's done 1-2 hours a week for a year.
