Before the start of the tournament, Don Krease Productions takes you on an in-depth of analysis of the six combatants title records, their records against top opposition and explains how each of their seasons has developed thus far.
And Don Krease himself, being a gambling man places odds on who will be the overrall victor in this clash of the titans. And so, in alphabetical order, here we go:

Muhammad Ali
3 Time Word Champion: 2 WBC Titles and 1 WBA Title.
Boxing record: 29 wins (16 stoppages), 1 draw, 5 losses
Super Six record: 3 wins, 2 losses
The current number one ranked fighter in the Heavyweight Division, Muhammad Ali goes into The Super Six as the in-form fighter. The reigning WBC Champion has had a remarkable season thus far. At the beginning of the season, Ali achieved the accolade of being the Original WBC Champion - where on his way there, he defeated Super Six opposition in both of his title eliminators, beating Peter Jackson in the Semis and Joe Louis in the final.
But perhaps the highlight of Ali's season is his perfect Million Dollar Tournament record of seven victories in seven fights and ultimately acquiring the WBA Title's lineage, which he later reunified with the WBA Title itself- much to his credit.
Since the MDT, Ali has had two lengthy title reigns compromising of five WBA defences and three WBC defences up to Week 36. Ali is a tsunami to contend with and as such, it is predicted that Muhammad will fare well in The Super Six.
Odds: 3/1 - He must be a favourite, mustn't he?

Jack Dempsey
5 Time Word Champion: 2 WBO Titles, 1 WBC Title, 1 WBA Title and 1 IBF Title
Boxing record: 26 wins (22 STOPPAGES), 2 drawS, 7 losses
Super Six record: 3 wins, 4 losses
Probably the most fearless fighter in the Heavyweight Division, Dempsey has fought all-comers this season. Jack's courage and grit has driven him into becoming the only fighter this season to complete "The Grand Slam" and hold all four major World Titles.
Jack had an excellent start to the season when he became the Original WBO Champion. His reign as WBO Champion is still currently the longest title reign of any of the Major Titles this season, with seven WBO Title defences - which is a tremendous achievement in itself.
Dempsey's season has been shrouded with glory and he has never been too far away from title contention - as can be evidenced by his five major title triumphs. The reigning WBO Champion is heavily fancied to do well in The Super Six.
Odds: 5/1 - Dempsey's definitely up there amongst the best.

Larry Holmes
2 Time Word Champion: 1 WBA Title and 1 IBF Title.
Boxing record: 24 wins (11 stoppages), 2 draws, 9 losses
Super Six record: 1 wins, 1 loss
Holmes struggled for the first quarter of the Heavyweight season - as admitted by his Manager. But Larry recovered from his bleak start of five losses in his first eight fights and in the second quarter of the season he stabilised his record by powering to ten victories in eleven bouts.
But it was not until the third quarter of the season that Larry's season truly got underway by winning the WBA Title. After losing his title to Ali in his third defence, he quickly regrouped and became IBF Champion just six weeks later.
Larry is considered one of the outsiders in this tournament. Yet if Larry's record is any indiction - it shows that Holmes is powerfully resilient and will battle against the odds to overcome anyone is his path.
Odds: 15/1 - Holmes might struggle.

Peter Jackson
5 Time Word Champion: 4 WBC Titles and 1 WBO Title.
Boxing record: Not determined by Manager.
Super Six record: 4 wins, 4 losses
Peter Jackson has had a wildly sucessful season in terms of Title victories by accumalting an impressive total of five World Titles. Peter has developed a love affair with the WBC Title by winning it on four separate occasions. Undoubtedly this landmark achievement WBC Title has greatly assisted helped him gain entry into The Super Six.
In the first half of the season, Jackson certainly proved himself as a man who excelled in the big occasions by ending the title reigns of Ali, Marciano and Louis - in that order, even before the halfway point of the season. And by Week 20, he the first 20 weeks he rocketed off ahead of everyone else in Title victories, which caused his Manager to predict that Peter would "end up as a 6 or 7 time World Champion".
Although this did not happen - Jackson's early good form caught up with him, and after securing his fifth World Title - he struggled badly and slipped fell badly down the rankings.
However, despite being a outside bet, if Jackson can regain his early good form and raise to the occasion - perhaps anything can happen.
Odds 12/1 - he's beat good opposition before, but can he do it again?

Joe Louis
5 Time Word Champion: 2 WBO Titles, 2 IBF Titles and 1 WBA Title
Boxing record: 26 wins (20 stoppages), 2 draws, 7 losses
Super Six record: 1 win, 4 losses
Joe Louis had a good start to the season - getting to the WBC Title final eliminator before losing a hard-fought battle against an inspired Muhammad Ali.
Yet, throughout the season Joe Louis has been avoided in title fights which had led to his Manager claiming that he is "the most ducked man in the Sim". Super Six opposition such as Marciano and Jackson both ducked Joe Louis in different weeks, when he was mandatory challenger for their titles. Added to that, Rocky refused a fight with Joe back in the inital WBC Title Semi Final elinator.
Yet despite other fighters reluctance to fight him, Joe has forged out a successful career for himself, giving title shots to: Jack Johnson, Lennox Lewis, Gene Tunney & Peter Jackson accordingly. Yet despite this, Louis undercame criticism for his chosen title defences during The Open Weeks.
Louis has got a poor record against other top fighters, but Joe is confident that he can surpise his doubters and prove his critics wrong about him once and for all.
Odds: 10-1 - He has the potential and the ability but can he step up at this critical hour?

Rocky Marciano
5 Time Word Champion: 2 WBC Titles, 1 WBO Title and 1 IBF Title
Boxing record: 30 wins (29 stoppages), 1 draw, 4 losses
Super Six record: 4 wins, 1 loss
Rocky Marciano has been ranked The Number One for the most weeks and numerically has the best record of this Heavyweight season. But Marciano's quality of opposition has been questionable for parts of the season as can be evidenced by the fact that fought 7 cpu fighters in the first quarter of the season.
Marciano's destructive ability is not in question - but his manager's ethics are. Rocky has been suspended from title fights for refusing mandatory challenges (twice) and even holding a title for 5 weeks, but only defending it once.
That said, despite his questionable antics, Marciano has been massively succesful, dispatching nearly everyone he has faced. But in recent weeks, Rocky has went through a bad patch, sufferring 3 successive losses in a row...
The only question can be, now that he's in the big time against the best possible opponents, will Rocky rampage through them as he did lesser mortals or will be become unstuck?
Odds 2-1 - who would bet against him?
