Brett Flournoy murder trial

I just heard on the local news about the murder trial and death of Brett Flournoy and his accomplice who were shot last summer and the fact that they were noted as drug dealers. I haven't got much sympathy for this, I'm afraid.

Boxed him in finals of the under 20's was walking through most opponents with ease but brett beat me fair and square. Better boxer on the night and 1 of the best a boxed or spared, very good on his day, seen him again alot of times on shows together and at Karl Inces gotta say i aint happy not nice for anyone and feel sorry for his family RIP mate

I'll reserve my sympathy for thos ewho choose not to live a law abiding life.

It is a sad story and most people who knew Brett would agree that he was a personable enough sort of lad. However, regardless of the metric used, by no stretch of the imagination was he a "great boxer"; he was fairly decent.

All i'm saying is I'l obvious I feel sorry for his family, but anyone who involves themselves with that shit knows the risks, he obviously wasn't going down to give that fella a hug and say give us the money u owe us laddy.

Just because he was a talented boxer shouldn't excuse that he was a drug dealer - in fact the fact he had that talent and wasted it makes it worse.

Obviously I dont know him personally and hopefully he's resting there in peace, but I personally will never lose sleep over a dead drug dealer.
