Julian Jackson v John David Jackson
Julian Jackson v John David Jackson
What happens here at light middle. Could John avoid Julian's bombs and outbox him?

Re: Julian Jackson v John David Jackson
I too think he could, right up until The Hawk lands one square, at which point John David is carried out of the ring.
Nine times out of ten I'd bet Julian lands one, & I feel that it's pretty much it after that.
PS: Anyone know what actually transpired in the Cammarra fight? Reads like a (even more one-sided) precursor of Jackson-Castro, except they changed the result after JDJ got counted out....

Seems an odd write-up, haven't seen the fight or read about it before now.

Re: Julian Jackson v John David Jackson
The story in Boxrec is simply not true!!!!
This is what happened: John David Jackson had totally run out os gas in the 11th round. Camara scores with a very hard left hook to the chin, Jackson tries to clinch but Camara throws him to the floor. The referre rightly or wrongly pick up the count. Jackson rises at a count of nine just 10 seconds before the end of the round, and here the story starts to get funny. The referee knowing that the end of the round is near thinks that he might have heard the bell, but the home crowd makes it impossible to hear anything. then the referee decides that the round has ended and send the fighters to their corners - Camara and his corner claims a tecnical knock out, the ring is invaded and all is kaos. The only person who keeps his cool is actually the referee who is informed that there are still 10 seconds to go in the round. (ACTUALLY THOSE 10 SECONDS WENT WHILE THE REFEREE WAS ASKING THE TIMEKEEPER FOR THE CORRECT TIME). The referee clears the ring and let the fighters fight the last 10 seconds, and then the 11th round ends officially. Then CAMARA AND HIS CORNER refuses to go on still claiming that Camara should have been awarded a tecnical knock out in rd. 11. Actually Jackson should have been decleared the winner bacause Camara refused to continue, but he got off with his title intact and that was what mattered.
Woller
