Ska has been intermingled with many different genres, but i wouldnt say normal ska sounds like fats domino which is essentially rhythm n blues.

the of the isrealite, desomnd dekker, thats probably the most famous ska song.

He's actually right J, apparently Reggae and therefore Ska came from a mixture of African roots music, American RnB and Cuban music.

well most music has roots somehwerre but i wouldnt say standard ska sound like fats domino mate would you.

No, but the scratchy guitar sound is reminiscent, very early Ska does sound a lot more bluesy.

It's a bit like equating modern RnB with Gospel, they ain't the same, but you can see where the roots are there. Reggae had more influences though especially in terms of the drum patterns which are from far older roots.

Well that lends itself to hobbies such as origami (skinning up), watching TV, listening to music and eating. Pretty full life.
