He's actually right J, apparently Reggae and therefore Ska came from a mixture of African roots music, American RnB and Cuban music.

My main hobby is smoking pot, which automatically restricts the amount of other hobbies you have, because you can't get off the settee (sad but true)

No, but the scratchy guitar sound is reminiscent, very early Ska does sound a lot more bluesy.
It's a bit like equating modern RnB with Gospel, they ain't the same, but you can see where the roots are there. Reggae had more influences though especially in terms of the drum patterns which are from far older roots.

Well that lends itself to hobbies such as origami (skinning up), watching TV, listening to music and eating. Pretty full life.Chambers2 wrote:DavidPayne wrote: How long to the word 'gunpowder' makes an apppearance.I ain't really a Pyrotechnics fan, I was just boredJ wrote:sad.so very sad.Chambers2 wrote:I've just joined an amateur pyrotechnics club as I'm fascinated by fireworks and the various types of GUNPOWDER that are used

As Fat Freddy says
" Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope"
personally, I would substitute the word "Montrachet" for "dope" but, each to their own
Dope smoking usually finds me eating a bowl of sugar puffs at 2am, bollock naked by the light of the fridge

You'd think he has other things on his mind seeing as he's in Vegas touring the good ol USofA
Gonna hit him for tickets for their final night at Hammersmith Apollo, so we can see first hand what the backstage groupie situation is
Edit: Hope for your sake they're not the original 80's groupies

Yes, I'd have thought the Maiden's groupies would be well ropey by now.Riddick Blowe wrote:You lucky bastard!MightyWarrior wrote:That was me - in fact I was having a beer with his pilot mate last night in same local, and Bruce texted him to say he was missing the local beer.Riddick Blowe wrote:Maiden baby! I wish someone had torn the drummers other arm off, and both his legs. And his cock, as He'd probably have strapped a drumstick to his cock to carry on.
Not that bad although I can only think of Maiden mostly.New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
Some truly terrible bands.
I'd get her to sing some more while giving her one. :PKOJOE90 wrote:I would give her one to be honest.Max Molyneux wrote:Avril Lavigne![]()
