The initial request may have been aimed at blacks and jews(?) but fair play to Curtis for taking it upon himself to show us all how it's done. Well played son :TU:

No pro boxer should ever, ever be allowed to step into the ring without payment and shame on any promoter, opponent and broadcaster who would allow that to happen. A terrible precedent and I hope it doesnt go ahead on these terms (as much as I admire the spirit of Woodhouse).

Surely Steve Williams is first in line for a crack. He's certainly earned another crack the British title.

Never been Steve's biggest fan but I tend to agree with this. I also think his pressure style would be perfect for this fight, a bigger Ben Murphy with a bit more boxing about him, and a decent dig.

Trojan,
Didn't Haye do exctly that and just take the PPV revenue to make sure the Valuev fight came off ?
I might be wrong.
Clearly didn't work in the case of Groves and Chunky.
The bet was frowned upon by the Board !

He's just doing all he can to get the fight.......i just see it as someone who is mad for the fight and will do all he can to make it happen,

Whether it comes off or not, you can't say he didn't want it or shyed away from anyone.

I can appreciate your knackers and love of a challenge Curtis. Can I ask if there's anyone in Britain/Europe that you feel is beyond you giving a strong challenge to?

Get the fight, then fake an injury the week before the fight. Tell them your not willing to fight for no money if your not 100% fit. Then get paid too :yay:

Based on recent performances, I'd be putting my money on Woodhouse.

Aye, not been that impressed with Theophane since he returned to the UK. He was loosing heavily vs Daws untill he put him down and Daws was basically out of it for the rest of the fight. Struggled again with Cook untill he hurt him, same with Murphy.

Shown good power, but Woodhouse has a good chin.

Eames kept saying 'tap, tap, tap, tap' throughout the Murphy fight. He trained Ash for long enough to know that if you keep him smothered it negates his undoubted skills. If you don't stay oh him like a fly on sht, he relaxes and gets good combinations off and can control the fight. I'm not talking about aimlessly plodding after him, the hands have to keep going aswell.
