Hopkins - McCallum
Hopkins - McCallum
I seriously cannot split these two. McCallum was always a neglected great who got his big fights late in his career at higher weights. Hopkins is enjoying huge acclaim at the moment...
Who would win? Over 15 rounds...
It's going the distance but this is as even a fight as I could imagine.

I see something similar. McCallum could nick it, but I'd lean towards Hopkins in a fight that wouldn't be pretty.

i think the kalambay that fought mccallum (in their first fight) would beat b-hop.

Hopkins every day of the week and on points.

I don't really see them as very similar other than that both are excellent technically.barry wrote:They are about as similar in everything as two fighters could possibly be! I don't know...I'd say a draw.

McCallum, very close. His bodywork just nicks a 6-5-1 decision.
People think this isnt close? Then what IS?

These are two gifted technical fighters. It would be a very entertaining fight in the sense how could one outsmarts the other. It would be a fight like Leonard vs Benitez or McCallum vs Toney or Whitaker vs McGirt fights. I pick Bernard Hopkins over Mike McCallum by a close decision. Two great fighters.

gonna rewatch that tonight. Toney - McCallum 1. McCallum - Harding. maybe Toney - PCW too.
