Hey Craig,if Fa and Parker meet i am picking Fa,IMO Fa has had the better prepartion, throws alot more punchs and i ???? Parkers fitness over 3 rds.If i had to choose 2 boys to qualify it would be Joe Blackbourn and Harry Scaife.Real shame for Sam but there was a qualifying process for Oylmpics and Hopper got spot.I still think there should of been 81kg fights though for Oceania. :TU:

I have no idea why, but the Samoa amateur team will be here in Australia this weekend. My uncle is one of the trainers. Hugo has talent, and would like to see him fight again.

They have a point. The Oceania qualifier features a much smaller talent pool than the qualifiers held for boxers from Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

How would you do it? Send fighters who lost in the qualifiers?

Yep, we have to send in the best there is, meaning the fighters who have won.

Thats all there is to it.

Tim Cahill plays Soccer.

Light heavyweight Damien Hooper is supposed to be our best chance.

Youre talking about Australia/Samoan southpaw Jai Opetaia.

I dont know who he is related to, but the kid can box, i last seen him fight when he was only 68kgs. We fought on the same night during last years state titles in Feb at Brighton, but i didnt get to see him fight because i was warming up in the change rooms as i was on straight after he was. He was fighting at 81kgs that night.

He also won the Junior World title in Kazakhstan July last year.

Both Mundine and Green hand picked this kid for sparring when he was only 15 years old.
