How long were grilling machines about until George Foremans name was attached to them? the sales are incomparible.

Frampton is known because he is linked to barry m's name.
That's cool mate, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I do think 'Smith Promotions' would get the same number of sales or more if they were marketed more effectively.
As I mentioned previously, I don't think the Foreman comparison is valid - if Hatton was marketing/promoting a weight-loss product, for example, that he'd had remarkable results with, I might be more inclined to agree, as there's far greater potential to have him intrinsically linked to the brand.
For me, it comes back to the same point and that's the unescapable fact that despite the fact it's been operating for a few years now, you can't point to anything to indicate HP has been a success in business terms. It's not like the company has only just launched and this is a new concept, the proof is already out there for everyone to see...

Spot on, double problems for Hatton here. John Murray's a Warren fighter and Joe Murray's not very good.

Quigg - would be missed as he goes to European class
Munroe - hasn't had a meaningful fight with HP but will be interesting to see how he does vs Quigg
Crolla - very entertaining but has he found his level??
M Hatton
Rhodes - interesting to see how he does vs Rabchenko
Towers - needs to step up opposition
M.Murray - hasn't built on good performance vs Sturm
J.Murray - not active enough and performances not been great

Any others?
For marketing purposes theres some decent options there. He has exciting fighters!

I do think it's an interesting and eye-catching format which has had some super scraps and good fighters in it.

But it does need to be used more sparingly, IMO...less is more and all that.
Yes that's fair enough Ian, use it more sparingly, so we get better quality fighters taking part - but not the recycled crap that Eddie is churning out at a dime a dozen.
Yet it smashes the viewing figures of regular fight nights out of the park. For example if Quigg-Arthur did 200k, Prizefighter does over 300k

I would imagine the advertising helps the TV figures for Prizefighter - how many times was Quigg vs Arthur advertised?

I believe Prizefighters figures are in some decline though.

Probably because it was becoming so regular its a good way for up and comers to get some exposure. They should give it a break for a while and then do a big money one, just for a change and get some big names in.
