Well done Ricky for leaving allegedly don't blame him at all. allegedly is the scurge of boxing. How many times have i heard promises only for them to fall apart. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if on 10 Sept Calzaghe-Lacy has fallen apart.

True that is the downside, but as long as Hatton is fighting the best I'll happily pay for it.

The thought of Hatton fighting for Warren on ITV defending against stiffs makes me shudder!

...It wont be good for Hatton however if the courts decide Allegedly has a legally binding contract in place and that Allegedly subsequently has exclusive control over Hatton's career.

In the advent that a judge decides a perfectly legal agreement does exists, is it possible that a judge could subsequently place an injunction on Hatton, preventing him from fighting until his contract with Allegedly expires? Or could Allegedly let Hatton rot while the agreement runs down?

If Hatton loses a High Court decision it is possible he could be in financial ruin and with little options left in the lucrative British market. For after all Hatton is bigger in the UK than in America, and a high court loss could well force Hatton abroad.

I appreciate this is all "ifs" & "buts".

Who knows, unless more news has been said on other threads while I have been at work then as far as I can see I don't think there is a reason why ITV can bid for Hatton fights anyway.

Like has been said this term "exclusive" is a bit unclear regarding this ITV/FW contract and the Witter and Froch bill would suggest that ITV can screen other fights.

Can't believe anybody has anytime for allegedly he's the worst thing in world boxing a loath some character. Always laugh when i read his article in the news of the world he still has digs at Audley Harrison who definetly did the right thing by not signing with him wish Amir Khan had done like wise a years apprentice in America would of made him a much better fighter.

Too bad there not screening more Witter anf Froch fights I enjoyed watching them fights Barney was one awkward fellow.

Audley could of built himself upfighting for better titles than the WBF though and Amir has only just started with him so premature to say that.

Plus Warren's done good with fighters when they have talent.
