Why do you bother posting here? Its obvious you're just trying to antagonise everyone but failing miserably and just looking like a complete pudendum.boxingchat wrote:So you are a Hatton stooge?
So come on tell us or stopr wasting our time on here. Doesn't he have a car for you to clean or something.

What fornicating bias? Do I work for Hatton...nope. Do I work for Warren, no.boxingchat wrote:jamesmcdonnell wrote:I don't disagree with any of this, never have.boxingchat wrote:

Why exactly. you bias is obvious.
I see it objectively. Warren has invested in Hatton, made money, and got him where he wanted on terms that suited him.
Hatton has done very nicely, and I have it on what I consider pretty good authority that some of the fights which fell through mentioning no specifics, fell through because of Hatton's demands, not Warrens.
I don't accept the spiel that promoters are always to blame, far from it.
However. I'm sure Warren has also done very nicely out of Hatton, and without getting his brains bashed in too.
If Ricky is indeed a free agent, the courts will uphold his right to pursue his career with whosoever he wishes, after all, he's not an indentured worker.
If however, Warren DOES have a watertight agreement, the courts will undoubtedly tell the Hattons that they either have to pay him off to get out of contract or stay put.

I have it on very good authority that what Warren refers to as an agreement is not binding in any way shape or form

I'm sure we'd all love to see it though! If Hatton fights in Sheffield and Witter is ringside I hope he behaves himself rather than mouthing off and acting like a numpty. He may get his shot.jamesmcdonnell wrote:I tend to agree...Witter needs time and space to wing in those big shots. Hatton would be on him like white on rice, and Witter doesn't like pressure.
He'd have to stop Hatton early otherwise he'd run out of gas and get clobbered.
I think he's calmed down a bit I don't see him trying to barge into Hatton's post fight interview again. Mind you that was as much Sky's fault as Witter's they engineered that no doubt.Ding_Ding wrote:I'm sure we'd all love to see it though! Imagine the intensity those two would bring into the ring against each other, it would be a brilliant fight. I would still give Witter a change against Hatton, he can whack with the best of them if he timed one of Hatton's rushes right he could decapitate him! Obviously Hatton would be a favourite if it materialised but 60-40 at best in my opinion.

My last post on this one Nick I promise
. I just don't think Witter is smart enough nor strong enough not to get bullied by Hatton from round 1. If you were talking about Floyd Mayweather who can pull off just about any defensive/offensive move you care to wish for then yes I'd agree. But Witter is way way behind Mayweather. He could never have stood centre ring and smacked up Gatti for 6 rounds with ease, while barely taking a single shot.
Mayweather v Hatton is the big fight, I really hope to god it happens.

Granted Gatti was a bit of a catcher, but his slipping and upper body movement then 3 or 4 punch combos were outstanding I have not seen a fighter doing that in a long time.MightyWarrior wrote:Yeah, watching that sixth round brought back memories of a prime Sugar Ray Leonard - awesome.nickd wrote:
That sixth round against Gatti was something else.
Will try and upload it to give some of you a look that might not have seen it.
I dont see anyone beating Mayweather 147 or below. Only when he ventures higher can I see him getting beaten. Seriously.
