Someone I forgot to mention and you SMASHING was Stevie Weir, very good boxer who if fit should make Welter.

Shouridi is good also. Some of the guys you have on your list aint that good mate, Ally Black, Gareth Stemp, Gary Collins, John McCallum, these guys won't do much
My guess would be xrgcx has seen all or most of these guys box... i didn't mention Stevie Weir because he turned over a few years ago very good come forward box fighter southpaw and a nice guy
i don't know Gary Collins i had Ryan Collins on the list who won his first fight the other night
as for jamiem daviddee and Mr Nelson picking there guys to win something that will never happen get real :shame: you 3 should be trying to build up Scottish fighters instead off them boxing each other to early for no titles i would need to check but I'm sure Harrison Arthur Docherty Limond P Wear Burns Morrison K Anderson Simpson never boxed a fellow Scot early on in there careers so why try and start causing bad blood with these guys in few years we could have Traynor Sharoudi Clark McCorry R Collins Roberts Slowey Simmons all holding some sort of titles for Scotland

As much as i like watching an exciting fighter like Ronnie i think hes tailor made for Roberts. Think his boxing ability would allow him to pick apart aggressive fighters, hes also experienced Burns & Simpson on a regular basis which is more than enough preperation for that kind of fight.

Dont get me wrong, its a fight id like to see.

Think his preparation would be burns and Appleby both orthodox :)

Last time I checked I was a southpaw ;)

I get very frustrated with people thinking I am just aggressive, can't I box? People don't stay in the ring long enough to let me show my boxing ability :( I really like Michael Roberts jr and also his dad very genuine people and u get what u see with them! Billy you talk too much! If ur confident that he would beat me then get it on?!? Remember exactly what u said to me though on our phone call...

My good friend always told me talk is cheap! Let's do the talking in the ring ;)

It's not causing bad blood. It's boxing not Scotland against the world. If someone is in your weight then surely they should be your target? I know Ronnie really likes Michael and they are friends but it's a sport to prove your the best you need to fight them. I know Ronnie would take this fight and still be friends with Michael afterwards. Burns fought Arthur! As for Out boxing Ronnie I also can't see that happening. Ronnie is a very good boxer and his own right very fast and powerful the question would be could Michael deal with that. Good clash and good for both guys careers. As for Him being in with Simpson and Burns that would not prepare for Ronnie he is nothing like these guys. I think it's over to Billy if he feels so strongly that Michael would beat Ronnie I'm sure this is easily made

Not saw them all as pros but pretty much all at ams level. I still travel up for the Bigger shows and go with my Nephew to some of the shows but moved down south so not saw them all as pros. I saw McCrory on Burns undercard against Al Hamidi, he looked decent. Slowey was also on the card, thought the ref was going to stop Ancliff. John Thain was lucky he dropped the boy in the first because that lad done enuff to get a draw imo. I think guys like Ronnie and Roberts should get kept apart just now, wait till there's a little more on the line, maybe a scottish title or something.

Both Ronnie and Mikey could fight for the British title within 12 months imo

If a fight was made between Roberts and Clark id defo be there to see it but as others have said, it is too early. When Arthur and Burns fought wasnt Arthur defending a British or Commonwealth title at the time?

Hopefully Ronnie can get himself as active as he wishes to be and i dare say if he and Roberts keep winning then they will cross paths at somepoint.

Ronnie hasnt called anyone out he just replied to billy saying it would be an easy fight which he says about all his fighters would beat everyone which is understandable. Michael Roberts is a good fighter and will do well but at moment in my opinion which is only an opinion mind i dont think he would keep ronnie off. I hope they do meet in future with a bit more on the line

Thats fair enough mate thats your opinion and your entitled to it :TU: Only one issue Ronnie hasnt ever made SFW so far in his career MR has and MR would be plenty strong enough at the weight?

Iain Butcher box fighter 19-4 Losing effort for British title

Garth Stemp counter puncher not boxed for a bit
Ally Black nice boxer
Darren Traynor fighter
Eddie Doyle box fighter
Steven Sharoudi box fighter

Matt McAllister box fighter 10-0
John McCallum smart boxer
Rhys Pagan box fighter
Gary McCallum box fighter
Ryan Collins fighter
David Brophy box fighter 22-2-1 Commonwealth title winner
Sammy Hill box fighter
And iv been told Aston Brown Darren McAdam and Shug Gray will turn over soon
Interesting to look at Scotland's "Best" prospects in 2012.

I had a look at some of there records at what they have gone on to achieve, only one of them (Brophy) has went on to win a major title.

I admit that I don't keep up with Scottish boxing at a lower level at the only boxers with British title and above potential seem to be Farooq, Mcgregor and Taylor.

Cant say I'm aware of any prospects that are likely to progress to this level currently.
