This is fantastic. Tell me, did Calzaghe write comedy scripts for the BBC before becoming a boxer?

Now, where shall we start...

"Joe Calzaghe has upped the bragging stakes ahead of the 17th defence of his WBO super middleweight title by saying he is better than Ricky Hatton"

Shut up Joe, you haven't fought anyone fit to tie even an aging Kostya Tszyu's boots and I'm afraid that includes Eubank.

Quite odd how he disrespects Hatton for beating an aging champion. Calzaghe beat and ageing FORMER champion to win this belt.

I've "defended" this belt for 8 years.

Yes, and Lester Jacobs retired an undefeated world champion too.... does mean those defences were worthy of being called defences.

Calzaghe beat an ageing weight drained FORMER champion who was due to fight at 175 only 5 days before the fight so had to shed an extra 7lbs aswell as whatever weight he was over 175 when he got the call.

The sooner someone KO's him and shuts him up the better.

Strange how Hatton leaves Warren and Calzageh starts slagging him off when befor he was first to sing his praises. It dose leave me dissapointed that a nice lad like Kahn might be manipulated in the same way

HATTONS FOUGHT BUMS AS WELL,HE BEAT A WASHED UP TSZYU,GOT DROPED BY MCGEE,HAD A TOUGH FIGHT WITH A OK DOMESTIC FIGHTER IN THAXTON.I FEEL HATTON WOULD COME UNSTUCK AGAINST THE BIG GUNS.FAR TO PREDICTABLE HE JUST MARCHES FORWARD,HE WAS GETTING CAUGHT VERY EASY BY TSZYU.

Frank has done good for boxers careers though which is true for guys like Benn, Hamed and Hatton.

Tszyu never fought for 1 year and 11 months actually though. Notice that since Tszyu beat Judah though, he was starting to fight once a year. I don'tmean when he was injured but he fought Tackie then Leija, looked like he was only going to start fighting once a year.

Warren actually did get him Johnson before he got injured though and it is possible guys ducked him like Ottke, Beyer and possibly Hopkins like he said on that reply to Ian's article.

Zoo just fought the wrong fight. A neutral location & ref and different tactics and the outcome of hatton vs zoo could easily be reversed. Never the less, hatton still defeated him.

Calzaghe should open his mouth after the jeff lacy fight and not before. I believe ashira is under-rated, there may well be an upset but i think calzaghe will win.

I hope Calzaghe fights Lacy after this guy though it's a fight worthy for ITV since Hattons not with SN anymore.
