As i predicted this would end in the 4th or 5th.

Nice little warm-up fight for Audley and hopefully now either Tyson Fury or David Price next...both fights he's a live underdog as both of them have glass chins.

I honestly still can't for the life of me think why Goodwin put his hard earned into getting Ali Adams this shot. He just had no chance!

I think we all made our voices clear about Adams being rubbish and the fight being a mismatch but Steve wasn't having it.
You don't suddenly go from being a guy who was stuggling to beat euro bums to someone who could compete at the top of the domestic scene in the shape of 6 months...infact Adams is probably a journey man whose mouth convinced a few people that he was something more.

Rumours a few days back were they were trying to get Price on the Khan undercard. I'd suggest Price gets a lot more out of a fight in Las Vegas on a big undercard than he would from an Audley fight.

If Audley does fight one out of that lot then I'd say Fury would be his best chance of a win (not that I necassarily think he would win) because Fury is the easiest to hit out of all of those guys, and doesn't exactly punch like a train. Just checking boxrec, Jonathan Banks and Seth Mitchell are actually down to fight eachother on the Khan v Garcia undercard haha.

Whether or not Mr Hennessy wants to have an Audley fight is another thing, Audley isn't particularly cheap as we know.

He is indirectly responsible for killing boxing on the BBC.

Why do you keep spouting this turd? At the time the BBC bailed, they had Hennessy shows (Froch, Eastman and Eesham Pickering) as well as David Haye and Audley. If Audley was the only one not pulling in the audiences they would have just ditched his shows and stuck with the rest. But they didn't because they wanted out of boxing full stop. Thinking about it wasn'tthis around about the time they got Match of the day back? Not only that but when Audley was on he no doubt pulled in bigger audiences than the other guys. I'd bet his fights against Hersisia, Francis and Bonin, say what you like about them, pulled in a bigger audiences than any other boxing on the BBC during that period, even more than Thompson v Haye I reckon, that was obviously shown on a delay.

If you're complaining about the money he was on for his first 10 fights, I'd love to see you turn down 1million. No doubt you'd say 'Oh no, I don't want a million, I have this real affection towards the people who pay their TV licences I just couldn't possibly accept that.'

I don't give a hoot about how much he was paid (& yes, I would have accepted the money); my gripe was with his performances & decreasingly quality in opposition which led to decreasing viewing figures.

OK, you're right, he isn't solely responsible, but he was the so-called headline act & poster boy for boxing on the BBC, hence why I keep spouting the turd (to paraphrase yourself) 'indirectly responsible for killing boxing on the BBC'.

If Harrison's 10 fight contract had panned out better, I believe boxing would still be on the BBC.

Thankfully Channel 5 have picked up the baton, but I would certainly worry if Harrison was ever featured because he has form so to speak.
