Carl said afterwards that Bute hurt him and he nearly went down.
I NOTED CARL SAYING THAT BUTE PUNCHES HARD..BUT WHERE DID FROCH SAY THAT HE NEARLY WENT DOWN? I DID NOT EVEN SEE HIM WOBBLE?... WERE YOU DREAMING SONNY BOY?
I don't think anyone in here or in the Current scene have said 'you remember that bit where Carl almost went over tho.'

Keith here is the full fight. Give us the part of the clip (as in post a time in minutes and seconds) where Froch nearly went down.

What's your evidence for that at Super-Middle?
Benn is up there as one of my favourite ever fighters, but there's no way he had the same explosive power at super-middle as he did at middle. He still had heavy hands, but to talk about hitting 'horrifically harder' than Kessler at super-middle just isn't borne out by the facts.
Agree Deserter, look at what Kessler did to Green, to Beyer, to Haussler etc - pure one punch KO power.

Kessler's power is criminally underated, I think his boxing ability is somewhat overated recently (I think he is definately not the fighter he was) - but for me he needs to be in these P4P lists for power.

Froch has not beaten anyone in top world class, he lost to Ward and Kessler. He has not got wins on his resume like McCllellan or Kessler/Hopkins

He said it in one of the interviews. It might have been the 5 live one.

This is true.

He may have heavy hands and a strong chin, but the Taylor's, Dirrell's and Ward's of this world will always school him.

Froch has been lucky.

Buddy, Froch stopped Taylor. That means he won...he was behind at the time of the stoppage, but he won... and he wasn't 'schooled'.

Dirrell did not 'school' him either, unless you think running around the ring backwards and spending most of your time flopping around on the floor to avoid getting hit, is schooling someone.

Be honest, did you actually watch these fights? Arguably, even Ward didn't school him either, a 116-112 decision isn't a schooling. Comfortable win yes, schooling no.

Some people just can't accept that their heroes Benn and Eubank would likely have been beaten by Froch....

The harder he worked the luckier he's been. Froch has earned his success.I'm not too keen on how he sometimes comes acoss in interviews but he is a very good professional sportsman. He has the wrong natural style, attributes and temprament to be the very best in the world over 12 rounds; I imagine he'd have been an even more effective boxer over the old 15 round distance. Hats off to Froch.
