So now Martin signed a contract that never existed, for a fight that was never set at a pursed never agreed?

I think you are letting your blind hatred of Macklin get the better of you on this one hombre!

I know for a fact that the offer was good he,s lost his last 2 and it was still a 6 figure sum and more than they both got for facing sturm and it had no ties with it, I don't hate macklin I've enjoyed many of his fights I don't like him as a person though. He's as shitout after all his big talk there's no 2 ways about it

The issue is that Hatton are slabbering about Macklin 'pulling out' of a fight that was never made.

If the money was right then the fight would be on. Macklin doesn't need to prove a point to Murray at a cut price discount, especially when there are more lucrative high profile fights on the table for him. I know that won't satisfy the baying mob on here but that's the reality. He would be a 'fuckwit' to do otherwise, as pointed out previously, that ain't the case.
I get what you're saying, I'm just a tad disappointed after following what both of them have had to say to each other recently.

Macklin/Murray should be made but Murray clearly wants no part of Macklin understandably, Macklin would pretty much dominate him.
Huh?

Couldn't be further from the truth. Murray is calling Macklin out every other day of the week.

Listen my friend I ain't going to argue because I've made all the point already.

I like both fighters, I'm relatively friendly Martin as well as always have a quick chat when I see him. But the truth is that in comparison to an alternative Macklin has to fight in the States the offer made both in terms of finances and exposure paled. So if you think that Macklin 'shit it' because he wouldn't accept a smaller offer to fight on a 'backwater' channel despite having just gone to Germany and America to fight the #1 and #2 in the division then fair enough because I don't think you are listen to any logical argument.

P.S. I'd love to see any combo of Lee/Macklin/Murray/Barker

My choice of words are not the best. I'm just sayin how it comes across, he comes across as he has a very high opinion of himself calling Murray and barker good warm up fights but then turning down a good offer. Thanks for a civil post back, I still think sky would have picked it up as they did with bellew v mcintosh,

Dibella offered Murray the fight in America IIRC, Murray stated he is a level above Macklin and he doesn't deserve the fight, when in reality Macklin is more proven and is ranked higher, Murray doesn't want it.

Martin has wanted big fights for a long time and has been avoided like many a good fighter so that is no fault of his own other than being good.

You say Murray lost to strum when many feel he scored the cleaner shots than macklin who seemed to box a lethargic strum compared to the 1 Murray fought who looked in greater condition due to taking the bout more serious and maintaining weight better I between camps which can make a huge difference in performance

The people that scored the fight for Murray are either clearly biased, or have no clue on how to score a fight.

The fact is Murray turned the fight down, saying Macklin doesn't deserve a fight with him, which is utter bollocks.

I scored it a draw,
and as for the other shit your sprouting crawl back under your desk, what your saying doesnt make any sense. He's been offered a chance to fight and he's turned it down because he wants an easier fight across the pond for a decent purse. Simple as. I can understand that but what i cant understand is him saying how easy it would be, then not backing it up when they got a perfectly good offer and he's making out like they got offered peanuts. Either him or his managment have thought why fight Murray and risk getting beat? if he loses wheres he gonna go from there? he's nearing the end of his career.

Just as I thought, you have no clue on how to score a fight.

Remember one thing, Dibella offered the Murray fight FIRST on HBO, then Hatton came back with the classic 'counter offer' just to try and hide the fact he doesn't want the fight, you clearly biased towards Murray.

All of this 'Murray won't fight Macklin' and vice versa is almost certainly a load of bollocks. Both have proven they'll fight whoever.

The offer that Macklin has had to fight Murray is a good one. Presumably, he's had a better one.

a "good purse" is a relative term.

The fight can happen. Hatton's simply need to offer more money. It's as simple as that.

Macklin has been offered (so I've been told) a six-figure sum - more than he got for Sturm - and Murray would be on exactly the same.

If he can do better than this elsewhere though, why would he accept?
