Booth has been a great servant for British boxing but I think it is time he moved in training. He is has a lot of miles on the clock now & isnt going to beat any of the top bantams/superbantams anymore.

Would like to see him fight a top bantam as he only weighed 8.8 for Galahad

Casey is the type of fighter still at a pretty good level that will give Booth some chances in this fight. Casey isn't that big and strong and leaves himself open all night, Booth should have a fair amount of success if he can get his punches off but the danger will be simply being outworked in this fight...which will probably happen.

I don't mind the fight though, I'd watch it.

I think Casey will bring too much volume for Booth. Booth in his day was a class operator he is a bit past it now though he still has some of the tricks. Think he should hang them up after this one. Hope he can find a role for himself in boxing because I know it is his life.

I didn't like Frampton dismissing Booth as an opponent like he was already beyond him, when he hasn't beaten anyone as good as Booth yet.

Booth bantam prob doesn't fight at that weight as no bantam would fancy it and casey last fought at feather so what weight this at I'd still like to see him down at 8.6 as what I seen in the Galahad fight has plenty left

Booth needs a win to prove he still has something left at this level. This is a good fight for him, if he can handle Casey then he would certainly prove an OK opponent for Frampton.

I do hope Booth can get a decision, he should do better than he did against his last 3 opponents anyway.

Casey to win via clear decision or late stoppage. I know hes fairly limited and all, but he should have enough to take care of a way past it Booth.

Frampton's opposition has been fairly weak, his dismissal of Booth as a possible opponent is ridiculous.

I don't like Frampton, he seems far too big for his boots and I hope a British or Irish fighter is able to humble him soon.

There's not much doing at Bantam though, until McDonnell possibly steps up and vacates his British/Commonwealth titles. I guess at this stage of his career Booth will be thinking he can't afford (in both senses) to hang around and wait for another shot at the lighter weight..
