I have to admit, I started watching the video and lasted about 1:10 (I wanna do youtube, that's what I do) before I started to take quite a dislike towards ukwingchunstudent. Not that I'm really that fond of Bunce and his squealing over the top of other people speaking. So basically I don't really care, or maybe I do, it's rare that I right two posts about anything. I've decided I should be less quick to hate things...

But ukwingchunstudent still seems like a cunt to me...

Nah, Buncey never actually said that. I know Wingy has tried to portray it like that to try and galvanise support but its bullshit, Buncey never said it!

Wingy is an attention seeking clown trying to make a bit of a name for himself on the coattails of Buncey. Nothing more, nothing less.

His faux moral indignation at a perceived snub by Buncey was totally childish and utterly embarrassing.

When Wingy started his childish rants at Buncey I tweeted the following after Wingy started saying that Buncey was trying to piss all over the efforts of guys that "do their thing for free" on the internet.

The guy is a gobshite. Buncey's point was that he didnt know the guy, never seen him at any shows, didnt know anything about his background so why should he start jumping through hoops for him. I agree with him. There are hundred of guys that put in hundreds of hours for free promoting boxing via the internet and other media and you dont see them screaming and wailing and arm waving trying to get more attention when they dont get the recognition they think they deserve.

The guy showed himself up as a complete prat in my book.

Many posters are invariably respectful on here or stray only in response to disrespect. Bunce gratuitously disrespected certain forum members and, at least implicitly, the whole forum.

I dont know this, but Terry probably just asked. I have been around am and pro shows at all levels for years and met hundreds of Boxers, most of whom are very personable. If i was that way inclined, i bet i could have got an interview out of a large percentage. Most would be buzzing with the publicity. It would involve a passion for writing, a lot of petrol and a big phone bill though for little or no reward. Nobody just walks up to a random guy at ringside and says "here mate, here's Jamie Moore, interview him for me and stick it online", you make your own breaks.

That's pretty much it. I started doing opinion type pieces for a U.S. site, but quickly ran out of steam and they were little more than glorified forum posts. There's only 4-5 worthwhile things any of us ever have to say, so I asked my girlfriend what I should do and she said, "You used to train at Bob Shannon's gym as a kid, go and see them", and this led to interviews etc.

I also paid a lot of money going to places to speak to the likes of Shavers, Terry Marsh and Jack Turpin, plus my first fight report, Donovan Smillie-Bendall, cost me a fair bit of money in petrol and a day off work etc., and on the night someone dismissed me as a .com "amateur" when I asked for a quote.

So I just plugged away, and as you say the fighters are really approachable up to a certain point, that point usually being when they hit the top and draft in someone to handle their affairs etc. without giving any thought as to whether that person is a professional. Prior to this, you rarely meet fighters who say "No". I've been turned down flat 2-3 times, and one of those times I was asked to pay a few hundred quid for an interview so opted out myself.

It is generally a case of putting in the hours, money and putting up with a fair amount of gyp. I've nothing against the vid brigade, people like Jane Couch, Chris Maylett, Kugan and our own lovely Leonard put in a lot of graft and tend to film people at shows etc. Jessie Jackalope brings a new slant on things etc., but in the main they are utterly turgid and a waste of time.

This Cee Lo dude seems an O.K. guy on Twitter, maybe he wanted a bit of instant buzz so popped away at Bunce knowing that SB, rightly or wrongly, would pop back.

Maybe vids will phase out written articles, I hope not as it has taken me a few years to get to the point where I'm "writing" in the loosest possible sense of the word as I am a long, long way away from anything.

Being in and around the sport keeps you on your toes, the fighters are great, the back slappers grate and although you sometimes have to spend 2-3 hours a day on the phone 2-3 times a week it does have its rewards if you persevere. I also got lucky in meeting and bonding with Billy Graham and Kerry Kayes so that helped as I got a crash course education in the ins and outs of a top-level gym and camp.[/qu someone tried charging you a few hundred pounds to conduct an interview?!
