I always fell like I'm 48 hours behind everyone else !!!

It would be a good test for Gavin at this time and without a doubt his biggest fight to date.
If he was any less than 100% then Hatton would highlight it because he will be all over him all night long.
Matthew Hatton will fancy his chances against Gavin, especially when you consider the company he's been keeping in recent fights. (Although he has been on the wrong end of the results)

Frankie is a very likable character and I'm glad that he's got over a bad year. After this Olympics though he won't be able to trade on 'the most talented boxer' thing. I hope he gets some good fights and moves up quick else he'll fade; boxing as a viewer sport is altered this year and will be more next year. It's a shame he can't at least keep busy like the old timers used to do (off telly) to keep match fit and keep his name in;(did Jason Booth and Willie Casey do it on Sunday?)

He doesn't do too bad pal! He's had some one punch knockouts too, over tough men. Keep it in perspective, Matthew doesn't go in looking for a knock out win but places his shots very well. Ted Bami was a good lad with abig punch, if Matthew couldn't hit then the top men would mow him down.

Hatton is tough, but Frankie would outclass him. You can already see the commentators laud Matthew's bravery. Its a fight that would be good for Frankie's career and its a step up, but Frankie would need to maintain the momentum after such a fight, and to date that's been largely out of his hands. Forget the Chisora focus, Frankie needs his opportunity to show what he is about. Make the fight. Make more fights after. Give the man his chance.

He's not a puncher though mate! You only have to look at the Alvarez and Brook fights to see that aside from his knock out percentage on his record.

Good oponent for at this stage of his career,i think Gavin would totally outbox him&win a wide points decision&send Hatton into retirement..

Is there a better risk/reward fight for Junior Witter than a fight against Matthew Hatton?

Also, with there being talk about a possible Ricky Hatton vs Pauli Malignaggi fight, surely a Matthew Hatton fight is the best chance for Witter to get a fight against Ricky.
