Actually, he was his full brother and older by about three years.I read in an old Boxing Illustrated that he was up for Kalue for a title shot.But I've never seen him fight.

I don't know. He retired in 1981. Had fighters learned how to fight yet by then? :P

Fro those who dont know, the great j.l.sullivan is referring to my stance that his name sake could not compete with fighters of today because his style was too primative. Although you are delllusional, the above was a funny jab. :TU:

So, had fighters learned how to fight by then, or were they still trying to learn how to throw a jab and move laterally?

He was in the crowd at MSG and when this guy made fun of his brother he put him in a head lock til security broke it up. Wait, oh I'm sorry you're talking about Roger Leonard, I thought you said Roger Clinton. Sorry, my bad.
