Mitchell v Burns undercard?

Post by earsjohn »

A cracking headline but the support looks particularly dismal.

John Simpson (23-9-0) v Dai Davies (9-18-2) and then 9 House Fighter v TBA's?

Is this simply a case that the headline is that good it doesn't need a worthwhile undercard?

Shame for Martin this not being in his hometown - but for purely selfish reasons I'd be glad about this means i'd get to see it. Could be a war that

Most people know of theses two guys now, if it's well advertised in the sun on Saturday it might pull in a few thousand !

Still nothing confirmed for undercard yet?? Well no opponents confirmed. Hope they show the Slowey on allegedly. Doubt it but. He's very accurate with his punches, only thing is he doesn't look like he can bang.

According to Mickey Helliet they tried to get the Harrison fight for Tony Owen but it didnt come off so Scott is still fighting the well travelled warrior that is TBA.

Tough fight for Thain who likes to trade don't think he'll have the strengh to stand and trade with Noble who's always game, i see a potential upset in this one

John Simpson is a really good boxer and Dai Davies is better than his record suggests, good title fight.
Interesting to see Harrison out again, we can't expect too much too soon.
Bradley Saunders has looked like a good prospect so far.
Loads of prospects, plenty of fights!

It is a good undercard IMO.

You are far too easily impressed. There is one fight on the bill that is anything other than at least 80:20, and that's the headline. I have no problems with the top fight, but for a World Championship promotion, surely some level of competitivity on the u/c wouldn't go amiss?

Just a usual Warren card. Couple of fights could be good. Lee Noble is unbeaten in his last 3 fights and will be natrually bigger than Thain. Simpson v Davies will be a goo scrap annol. I can maybe see Lee Quin beating Sammy Hill. Am sure Quinn was a sparring partener for Matthew Hatton and is decent.

That undercard looks shocking to me. I will be truly shocked if it's not all home wins.. Maybe get a nice wee coupon
