You are all taking this too seriously, this fight is the only fight he will have. As ive said in another thread about Flintoff this is only for a tv programme for Sky TV. He will fight another novice possibly someone who has only had one fight or another debutant. Dont get carried away with Freddie, after 1 fight its all over.

BTW, tv prog called 'Gloves are Off' for Sky, fight will be live on TV also.

Looking at that photo he's just done a shit load of cardio to shift the weight and not much else. It's given him that 'I've got cancer/aids' look. He should have knocked it off a bit more slowly and thrown in some weights. He's gonna be weak as f**k.

Not in that "good" way, where i want to see him get beat. I just want him to go away.

If he had any brains, he would do MMA rather than boxing.

Boxing is more lucrative & you can get easier fights

Don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging him off. Far from it. It's just I've never been as fat as that since I hit puberty. Seriously. Providing you, first and foremost, eat right and aren't a lazy bastard, there's no excuse for carrying any more bodyfat than he is there - unless you want to, of course, which is fine.

Ripped or not, you don't see many top ten current heavyweights looking in as good condition as Freddie does in that picture.

He's not carrying much muscle, wouldnt say he was ripped just not fat any more, bear in mind that pic he is tensing and probably pumped up with weights before hand.

Just because hes lost a bit of weight (which training full time for a boxing would do anyways) doesnt mean hes going to be a good fighter.

Think its ridiculous when you get any boxer carrying excess fat, its just lazy.

Would agree that it looks like he has left off the chips and pies as opposed to doing the training. Although he might not be doing a weight training regime in his boxing training which gets the from me.

Just get him on the bag, pads, road and sparring.

I'm pretty sure Curtis said used to sneak off after footy training to spar. Think he has been around the gyms since he was a kid, just happens he got his break in football sooner. I'm sure he will be along shortly to verify.
