Froch beat Pascal because Froch is a top fighter. Always thought a rematch would be close, especially at light heavy where he looks stronger.
Cloud isn't leagues above but I would put my house on him beating Nathan.

He'd simply fight smarter second time around, and as Pascal gases he could be taken out.

Looks like this saga is continuing to roll on and nobody has a clue who Clev will be fighting if indeed he is.

I don't understand why they are still peddling the 'unification' fight talk with the WBO threats around. He isn't going to be put in with anyone with a strap

It must be very frustrating for Nathan, trying to get into shape and do the runs - when he knows there is a chance it might all be in vain. Nothing worse to wreck a fighter's mind than that.

I saw Carl go through it twice with Denis Inkin. They put the graft in, then the fight sinks. Then they don't know who the hell is going to be stepping in the ring, or even if they will fight at all.

Cleverly's career (through no fault of his own) has become a bit of a joke over the last year or so. The guy seriously needs a big fight although I think FW will be happy for him to milk the WBO belt for as long as he can before stepping up in class. I can understand the financial motivation behind him doing that as there are clear doubts about Cleverly's ability at the top level but I do feel that as with Enzo Maccarinalli, this tactic may backfire spectactularly once he does get thrown in at the deep end. It needs to be about educated and gradual progression in the class of opponents and the guys he's fought since Bellew have been very much a step backwards.

Burns deserves accumulating some money and to keep busy.
Where has Clev fought anyone like the standard of Martinez or Katsidis.
FW was happy to chuck Hamed in against anyone, gave Calzaghe Kessler, Lacy and Hopkins but then he was much more careful with Alex Arthur!
FW always matches his fighters to win and it is obv how he rates a fighter by the level he matches them
