Your ideal route to a Klitschko for David Price

The people I'd most want to see Price fight would be Haye, Solis and Arreola. None of which has the remotest chance of actually happening...

i'd like to see him fight a durable guy that can eat a shot and still come forward... a higher class Skleton. Chisora & Wach would fit the bill going by recent fights ive seen but Wach looks like hes gonna be banned for being a drug cheat & tamperin with gloves & Chisora is probably unlikely.

Price certainly needs a 12 round fight under his belt though, perhaps Helenius.

Chisora's an excellent boxer IMO, I just wish he'd have turned up in proper shape against Fury (despite Wlads pullouts) I think it would've been a very different story, but it's all coulda, woulda, shoulda now

He clearly beat Helenius.
He gave Vitali his toughest fight since Lennox.
He got stopped by Haye in an excellent fight, but he was in the fight throughout and Haye would've been in trouble in the second of that fight

He's been mixing in excellent class and being competitive at worst

Anybody know what's going on with him at the mo, got nowt lined up

Too many fights where hes getting the L instead of the W,

hes obviously fighting at a level above where he can get the W and thus will continue to be a stepping stone for better guys on their way up

getting close isnt good enough or giving someone a good fight, this isnt a race... theres only 1st place, no silver medal

Why is Chisora suddenly a stepping stone? He batterd Helenious, Refs and judges hate him. at the moment if Price thought Delboy id call it a 50/50 fight, Prices best win so far is Audley at the moment. Yes he is very skilled but Chisora is not just a stepping stone.

Hes lost 4 of his last 5, hes a stepping stone at best.

Considering Chisora has fought just FOUR more fights than Price, is 2 years younger and has BEATEN Helenius, and gone 12 with Klitschko and Fury and taken on Haye.

WHO is Price's best win in his 15 fight career ... and does his best ever win suggest Chisora would be too easy a step up?

Conisdering Chisora has fought 19 fights and beat Helenius, and gone 12 with Klitschko and Fury and taken on Haye.

Max - I have never known so much unjustified hype - here is a prediction though - he is going to get nowhere near a title shot - his chin as a pro has not been tested but from the amateurs we know what is going to happen. Good fighter, big, strong, a heavy punch but there to be took out as soon as he moves up to European class and beyond.

I agree! People slag off Price and Fury's opponents as unworthy and 'bums', yet Del Boy tests himself and never turns a challenge down, only when he loses to very credible fighters, people make out he's a joke and a nothing fighter.

He ought to take a few low key domestic fights before going for another big challenge.
