Regarding Chauncy Wellivers result against Elisara SiUta (05-03-05)
The final outcome is officially a NO CONTEST
I have seen the paperwork, and it was confirmed personaly by the President Mr Gary McCrystal of the N.Z.N.B.F (New Zealand National Boxing Federation)
I've been told that only the editor who locks in a result is the one able to access it and change it?
If that is the case and it cannot be changed then I think someone who knows or is able to contact ANTON SEVESK might like to let him know whats happened.
He is welcome to call Mr McCrystal for verification of this final change.
I would appreciate any help with getting this corrected as soon as possible, it is important, and it is the WRONG result at present
Thanks for your consideration
John Glozier
Urgent! correct Chauncy's record
Why no letter from McCrystal? Why no documentation other than what I ahve recived? Why no emails from the fighters ionvolved, other than my corresp. with Welliver.
Other than your hearsay, the record stands as a NC.
Get some proof, please.
I have no personal stake in this, Anton, but why should I believe you rather than a signed, notarized document?

Here we go again
I´m at the WBC convention and I have managed to speak with Douglas Belton who is the current president of the NZ boxing federation and also this years president of the commonwealth boxing council. He said Welliver lost on points, that he was at the fight and saw it with his own eyes. He added that McCrystal is an amateur boxing official and a bit of a bullshitter.
McCrystal claimed likewise until I called him again on Sunday Oct 2.
His explanation was that judge Reddaway had now submitted a letter to NZNBF (in an affidavit form) admitting he had stuffed up. Therefore, they had no alternative but to rule it a No Contest.
He said that if this letter was not submitted by Reddaway the result would stand i.e. Split Points Win to Sii Uta.
IMHO not a satisfactory conclusion, but that’s NZNBF’s problem. Stuff ups like this are not easily forgotten.
