Ah, I see. Your prediction is based upon Khan coming back with a different style, more ring generalship and some extra stamina. How about we give him loads more power as well and turn him into Tommy Hearns? Then yes I would back him to beat JMM
I jest of course, but no seriously
Hunters job is hardly like changing Hatton to Pernell Whittaker though. Khan isnt as bad a fighter as many make out. He has flaws in fighting the way he was trying to fight, namely his defence and chin. He shouldve knocked that macho crap on the head after Maidana, Garcia didnt tell us anything people on this board didnt already know. What hunter can do is change Khans mentality from a gun-ho knockout artist without devastating power, to a fighter who accepts the best chance he has of winning is to, first and foremost, not get hit. Time will tell if Hunter can make the tweeks and get Khan boxing off back foot. I dont think Saturday will tell us too much if im honest. Id argue khan has stamina issues...
As for JMM. Look marquez beat Pacquiao granted, and I was supporting JMM on the night furthermore I dont particularly like Khan (most who have been on here since Harrison days will know this). But Marquez didnt perfom anywhere near aswel as he has in the past, he was being beaten, but timed a past-peak pacquiao perfectly. If Khan can move well, box on the back foot and be elusive as appose to jumping in and out like he did against Garcia, then he has a shot.
Just my opinion.
