he is at the end of his career and all ready had his last money fight against Wlad why would he come to fight?
i dont rate this fight he was absolute crap against wlad.
So he looked crap against the very best heavyweight in the World at the moment. Thompson is World class and has been given plenty of notice to ensure he gets in the best possibly shape. The fight is definately a step in the right direction and will see Price's World ranking fly up if he wins well.

Hows thompson world class? he's ranked one place above price on boxrec and his best win is witherspoon. I cant consider him to be world class off the back of being beaten easily by wlad. I just dont rate the guy i think if he was based in the UK he would be ranked 5th domestically.

It's a decent enough fight for Price but the fact that Thompson is a two time world title challenger is testimony to the lack of quality in the division. His best wins were against the likes of Maurice Harris, Owen Beck, Chazz Witherspoon, Luan Krasniqi & Dominic Guinn. Decent enough fighters but with respect second tier at best. He's nothing special and Price should see him off without difficulty.
