True......................curtis wood wrote:same old shit different day
He started well before you did Curtis and you have achieved a lot more. Shame because Smedley had a lot of talent, but he has been too inactive and just didn't progress. I think it's been over a year since he lost to Nigel Wright.

Re: Smedley back in feb
a big waste of talent, got all the moves but lacks the heart and drive to train and dedicate his life to the game, thats why somebody like me with loads less talent would beat him, ive seen it a million times in football and boxing, the ones with the most talent dont always go the furthest, and before i get his fan boys on here slating me this is just my honest oponion on the matter, ive met the lad a couple of times and he seems a good lad but the facts speak for themselves

I have zero interest in that fight, 2 years ago it made sense, now it means nothing, I wish him well in his future but that won't involve me

A nice and easy defence against a sheffielder with a good record and an owls fan sounds good and as he as been so inactive should b a walk in the park for u

Yep, talent alone is nowhere near good enough to make it in competative sport. I don't think that Smedley ever got used to the pro game after moving from the amateurs. As you say, you have to dedicate yourself to the sport completely.curtis wood wrote:a big waste of talent, got all the moves but lacks the heart and drive to train and dedicate his life to the game, thats why somebody like me with loads less talent would beat him, ive seen it a million times in football and boxing, the ones with the most talent dont always go the furthest, and before i get his fan boys on here slating me this is just my honest oponion on the matter, ive met the lad a couple of times and he seems a good lad but the facts speak for themselves

last chance for smedley, he needs to give it a go or he will regret the wasted opportunity in later life.

Wdoubt it,steve barnes will be training him and he works us hard.steve and chris are a great team and they will make manor gym into a top gym, just a bit cold in there at the minute as thieves took all the copper piping,los2 wrote:if his dad aint bothered with pro boxing then nikki should follow liam cameron's examplebodyactive wrote:Sorry not his dad but a close pal.
