They fought a lot in their home towns (esp. Jorrin) & it is therefore natural to see close fight after close fight go their way & think "Hang on a bloody second..." But then again didn't Jorrin get gifts on the road as well (Brodie, first Larios fight if I remember correctly)?
It got so bad, when Ayala fought Morales & got bashed up, when he lasted the distance I half expected to hear "& the winner by split decision... PAULIE AYALA!!!"
I remember Ayala getting a 10-8 round just for landing a decent shot against Bones Adams....So bad it was actually amusing
