I rate Tunney but he hasn't had quite enough fights for me to go to #2. I think he has the best chance of beating Louis of those listed and would do well in a H2H tournament.

This is difficult, but Louis and Marciano are the standout fighters in this era.
I would rate Walcott as number 3, with Charles and Schmeling just below him.
Moore and Connwould both certainly be in there.
