there is little info available because Floyd refuses to step on the scales. Why? Your post shows why, so he can lead you to believe he is lighter than he is.

This is Floyd as a middleweight, the most noticable difference is that he isn't as ripped and as shredded as he is on the scales (because he hasn't underwent a 3month training camp). Never the less he's still in great shape and a well documented gym rat even in his 'retirement' phases. He's in better condition there at 160 than Marquez was when he faced Floyd at weighing 142. In that same fight, Mayweather failed to make 144. To think he actually loses weight overnight is bonkers, guys rehydrate and carb up after weigh-ins for energy. I'm pretty certain he's at least 156, and it's why he doesn't step on the scale because the likes of you want to believe this fairy tale that a guy as cut & as rip as Floyd on scale, actually loses weight overnight. It's absolutely absurd. Use your eyes, he's clearly 'softer' in the ring than he is on the scales due to rehydration & eating energy foods post-weigh-in.

I can't afford to go either but someone I know who can says it's no fun with all the crowds; he could go ringside but would rather watch on telly.

Trust me, I couldn't afford to go in the cheapest seats but this man could afford the very best seats and chooses not to bother with the vegas bouts with the crowds etc though he went to the Froch bout last week.

Mickey, you can get to Vegas and spend 4 days there for less than half of that if you are prepared to change planes and stay in somewhere perfectly pleasant but not cool. Problem will be your fight ticket. They are had to get unless you throw cash at it or know someone. Your best bet is definitely to use someone like Shirow. You will pay a small mark up on the ticket, but nowhere near tout prices, and you will have complete confidence in what you've bought.

CA is massive compared to Floyd and will be on fight night.
Mayweather knows he wins, he would not take the fight unless he were certain of the win, just look at how slow CA's feet are, he fights in spurts and Mayweather will counter and punish his backside.
