Good point :TU: and IF Brook is finding it difficult at the weight Senchenko would land enough body punches to show the world.

It's a fight that appeals to people who dont understand the sport then.

Senchenko isnt a big puncher though. His body shot win over Hatton had a lot more to do with Ricky's decline than it did Senchenko's talents.

Do you mean the hundreds of thousands of subscribers, not the few hundred on here? Yes, that will be right.

Well let's be honest, casual fans fall for mismatches because they dont follow the sport that closely.

I think Shane Mosley will be most likely although im not too sure about this supposed Anthony Mundine fight and how close that fight is too happening, i think Shane coz of this Matchroom/Golden Boy alliance and he,s a big name whos coming off a good win over Pablo Cesar Cano and a lot of people (not me) had Cano beating Paulie Malignaggi who stopped Vyacheslav Senchenko,so maybe Mosleys best option from the pool if Maidanas fighting Adrien Broner.

Its not too often these days Mosleys coming off a win so if its a possible future bout, they better get in while they can justify it

Would you concede that the names mentioned (Guerrero, Lopes etc) are all good opponents to get for Kell at this kind of notice, some 10 weeks after his comeback from injury? I think your issue is more that Hearn said 'big announcement' or 'big name' and a lot instantly assumed that meant the Mayweather and Broner league.

No i wasnt expecting a mayweather or Broner type but a Ortiz, Berto, Guerrero, and Maidana would of been nice.

Van Heerden (who has been touting himself around for a UK fight) or Senchenko cant see any of the others in fairness.

Guererro and Lopez are on the back of losses to among the biggest names in the sport; it'd be a coup to get either in v Brook (especially in the UK).

Not really. Neither are big money makers. Guerrero got his shot at Mayweather on the back of the Berto win and also because there was somewhat of a lack of options for Mayweather. The only other guys Mayweather could of really fought were Bradley, Pacqauio and Marquez again and those fights are unlikely to happen because of them being with top rank.

I have to disagree with you here; no matter how you look at it, the best and ranked fighter that Kell has beaten in 30 bouts is either Jones or Salvdvia; with all due respect to everyone Guererro is a quantum leap both in ability and achievement; if he's not a massive draw for Brook (compared to who) then it's because the majority know sweet FA. Guererro beat Berto down and Berto is not an easy fight for anyone, Brook included.

Im not saying that Guerrero isnt a step above Jones im just saying that its not some major coup to get him over here fighting an unbeaten up and coming prospect when he's coming off a loss to Mayweather and he's not some big ticket seller in the states or makes huge tv money.

But losing to the best in the sport still leaves a lot of room to maneuver in negotiations; he is still one of the proven best under the elite level. He'll not come over here for chicken feed, in fact, he'll not be second fiddle to anyone under Floyd. He is a big scalp to get and his team will know it.
