Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
There are strong rumors going around that hughie fury will be fighting tony thompson on the undercard of haye - fury. great match making or way too soon?
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
Really ? I would be very impressed if true.
But I doubt it greatly.
Hughie is fighting again this weekend I believe.

More chance of hell freezing over than this fight happening this soon.
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
I think Hughie will go on to bigger things in the long run. he would beat everyone tyson beaten so far expect chisora (depending which one turned up)
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
I rate Hughie but a tricky experienced southpaw seems too risky at this stage.

100% not happening.
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
It'll be a 'pecking order' rumour - your so shit (Price) that my young inexperienced cousin will bet in and best the man that beat you twice; it doesn't matter if it comes off or not - the intent is to show who is on the up and who is on the slide.
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
Tony Thompson doesn't need it.
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
Just had a look at this. Hughie's Dad says Tony has a better offer "that we just can't match" but if it falls through then he knows there's the Hughie fight for him. Blatantly a bit of promotion for the lad, no harm in that, but it's not happening is it?Glass Joe wrote:Tyson facebook offical page posted the news as well. https://www.facebook.com/tyson2fastfury ... n=timeline

Wouldn't make any sense for Thompson's camp. I'd be shocked if they didn't have any better opportunities after the two David Price KOs. He's basically only lost to Wlad Klitschko anyway.

Way too soona nd where is the money to make this fight? proper BS.

David Price would make a 'good' opponent for Hughie.

Price wants to rebuild so no way this would happen. i'm sure we all know that hughie would knock Price out!Final round wrote:David Price would make a 'good' opponent for Hughie.
Re: Fury vs Tony Thompson (Haye - Fury card)
Like others have said, cant see it happening. It wouldnt surprise me if they were willing to put him in with Thompson now though! I admire that about the Fury's, they're willing to fight the toughest matches.

Steady on! I was taking the piss Price would spark Hughie out even before his career has started.mimmy123 wrote:Price wants to rebuild so no way this would happen. i'm sure we all know that hughie would knock Price out!Final round wrote:David Price would make a 'good' opponent for Hughie.
Linking Tony the tiger anywhere near him is a joke but easy publicity so why not.

Not a chance in hell that they would do this fight yet even if it was available to them .
I have heard a little rumour of who it might be though , but i have been sworn to secrecy for now
