Yeah he,s deceptively good,arguably still No1 in the States,although i thought when i watched the Wlad rematch it was more to do with Klitchko carrying him for a few rounds coupled with the fact that Thompsons awkwardness could be due to the fact he wasnt willing to take any chances

I remember being glad he eventually got KO,D by Wladamir in the first bout as he didnt even try to become World champ then IMO

Yeah he's quite defensively sound is Thompson. Offensively he doesnt look great a lot of the time but he's good at evading shots.

Yeah he is what he is,take Kevin Johnson for instance didnt even try to beat Vitali,a victory for him was going the distance,blah who cares do we really wanna see him be world champ :?? but when you get David Haye,Cris Arreola etc fighters who are bashing their way to a title shot just freeze then you get mediocre fighters like Chisora getting mega exposure coz he at least tried to beat Vitali,when really he,s nothing more than European level boxer

I can see the similarities. I think Thompson is better than Johnson though to be fair. Johnson doesnt seem to actually throw a punch full stop! Haha.

I actually think this fight will come off on the undercard of Haye v Fury. I am sure fraudley will be confident that he can bully a young kid with only a handful of fights. Hughie would knock out Harrison in the first round, Harrison will be all confident until he climbs into the ring then shit himself

I don't want to be contrary for the sake of it; Harrison is not the worst boxer to lace gloves on and at a certain level he can do a lot of damage; he goes to pieces when hit by a big puncher but when his mind's right he boxes well and imposes himself.

I think its incidental now as Hughie is down to fight Sept 14. Thats a shame as I was convinced he would be on the 28th bill
