Bob Foster v Michael Moorer
Bob Foster v Michael Moorer
Again at Light Heavy - what happens?
Re: Bob Foster v Michael Moorer
Moorer must have been pretty dried out to make the weight. A devastating puncher... But against these seasoned greats he's going to need to get mightily lucky.

Moorer's chin was less than stellar.
Lanky Foster catches him early and takes out Moorer within 3 rounds.

I don't know about within 3 rounds, but I do agree Foster takes out Moorer at some point in the fight.SenorPipino wrote:Moorer's chin was less than stellar.

When Bob has a point to prove, he does it in devastating fashion. And it would happen here, with Michael.Foster coldcocks Moorer in TWO rounds.

Foster's chin wasn't the best either. He's probably the most overrated Light heavyweight champion in my estimation. That being said, Moorer did next to nothing in the weight class. He would be dangerous, but I reckon Foster could navigate his way through early trouble and win by decision or late stoppage.
Re: Bob Foster v Michael Moorer
Foster overrated?.. are you joking. When was fosters chin ever found wanting at 175?. Just because he was stopped by great heavyweights Ali and Frazier doesn't make him chinny. Not many lightheavies could make it at heavy and Foster was unfortunate to be around when the heavyweight division was stacked with talent.

I couldn't be more serious. I see him ranked #1 by some people and I can't see a case for him being in the top 10 of such a stacked division. I doubt he'd be in my Top 15.fatcity69 wrote:Foster overrated?.. are you joking. When was fosters chin ever found wanting at 175?. I never called him chinny, no need to exaggerate. Moorer's chin was never lacking at 175 either. They both didn't face high caliber opposition there. Bob's was obviously superior, but not all-time stuff and not big punchers.

Foster smashes Moorer, inside 3 rounds. Too big a punch
