Go and look at film of Thomas, Tubbs, Carl Williams, Dokes in their prime. They lacked some intagibles but they were loads better then Brewster, Peter, Brock, Rahman etc.BubiScholz wrote:How the fornicate can someone as utterly shit as Bruno, Witherspoon, Thomas or Douglas be a WBC champion of the world??Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Yeah, good McCall by you Coconut. Now he's seen by many as having a decent shot.

If anyone wants proof that this silly bastard has absolutely no judgement or idea of what he's talking about, remember the above post.BubiScholz wrote:How the fornicate can someone as utterly shit as Bruno, Witherspoon, Thomas or Douglas be a WBC champion of the world??Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Yeah, good McCall by you Coconut. You can make a case for some of the above not being great but Witherspoon was a fornicating class act.

Douglas was sublime the night he took out Tyson - on that form he'd have given any heavyweight in history trouble. And Thomas was a class act on his day - a great jab and an iron chin: it took the best string of punches Tyson ever threw to take him out.
And 'Spoon was a danger to anyone when in shape.
These guys would've wiped the floor with todays heavyweight pretenders.
