Who's getting the new Tyson book?
Who's getting the new Tyson book?
Normally autobiographies are a bit bland or fail to deliver but I have a feeling this will be one that really does deliver.
Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?
I'll wait and see what other people say, too many are just 'I did this' and 'I did that', telling us basic facts that we all know already, I'd rather see some deeper insight into his life, thoughts etc.
Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?
I'll get it on kindle; am reading the new Hatton book at the min; I reckon the Tyson book will be good.
Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?
Been thinking about getting a kindle. Would you say they're worth it?palooka wrote:I'll get it on kindle; am reading the new Hatton book at the min; I reckon the Tyson book will be good.

Yes a kindle is definitely worth it, best legal thing I've bought in the last couple of years. Lasts weeks without needing to be charged and books are cheaper than the real thing.

I ordered it last week on amazon, it will be dispatched on the 21st which is the release date here.
Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?
I'd say so; I like to read a few pages before I go to sleep, there's a lot of books and it saves lots of space; I've got 98 books on mine and you buy a book it gets delivered in seconds; it's incredible really.columbo wrote:Been thinking about getting a kindle. who's autobiographies have you been reading? I'd be surprised if you've read 3 cover to covercolumbo wrote:Normally autobiographies are a bit bland or fail to deliver
I nearly started a similar thread asking who's going for Hatton's book and who's going for Tyson's - or both...but I figured I could put it in the books thread. No problem with this one though - I know you like to start a new one - even when there's an existing thread still on the first page

Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?
just noticed Tyson on the front of the Times. They may be serialising it. That's coup for him!

Nice write up on Andre Ward by Bunce in todays Metro.
Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?

I read Ward in BM last month, great piece.palooka wrote:Nice write up on Andre Ward by Bunce in todays Metro.
The Times are indeed serialising Tyson's book, here's an extract for you all:
In 1986, Mike Tyson became the heavyweight champion of the world.
Tell you more after I've read it...
Re: Who's getting the new Tyson book?
It's a different article in todays Metro from the BM one.n1ebf wrote:I read Ward in BM last month, great piece.palooka wrote:Nice write up on Andre Ward by Bunce in todays Metro.
