What about Pascal? Can't see George being too keen on that.
Pascal at Light Heavy now??
Yeah he is, but people are suggesting Bute who is fighting at light heavy now.

In reality he will fighter neither. I'm looking forward to seeing who George goes in with next, assuming it ain't Froch. I can see him treading water by dropping down a level unfortunately.
Because the elite in the division will be lining up at his door won't they?

Well, depends on how he sees himself I guess.

He gave Froch trouble so other champions, top fighters may see him as a credible challenger...providing he doesn't request the earth to fight.

Groves isn't even in the WBC's top 40 so forget Bika.
He's 3 in WBO after Steiglitz and Abraham, which is a route I'd like to see him go down.

Groves can mock Carl all he likes.

1) Let's see if his career goes on to be anywhere near as impressive as Carl's.
2) Let's see what he's doing at age 36.

He's only out of the WBC rankings because he was the WBA mandatory challenger. He might re-enter the WBC's rankings fairly highly soon.

100% agreed.

I have seen elsewhere that people think George is GUARANTEED to win a world title - is he **** - clearly it was an outstanding performance by Groves, people cant help but be impressed by it but that guarantee's **** all for the next fight.

His style is different and he won't still be boxing when he's 36.

I'm gonna make a prediction. I don't think George will ever look that good at world level again.

I think by stating that, only undermines Froch's ability.

Clearly you can predict what you want, buts its a very subjective prediction Mr Hangover.

It wouldn't shock me to see Groves moving across the pond for a couple of fights. im sure GBP wouldn't mind him as a U/C fighter...

As the dust settles both men will get the credit they deserve for this fight. If the rematch doesn't happen so be it, I won't blame either man for that .

I'll make another; Povetkin will never get within sniffing distance of anyone in the world putting any money on him beating either Vitali or Wlad.

They've shrunk since then mate. Haven't placed a bet since. I'll be going back to £20 bets at the start of the year. I won a stack on the first Banks-Mitchell fight and kept it for the Povetkin fight. If I win big next year, I'm top slicing.
