Breland may have looked a puncher against a shot Honeyghan, but generally his power was far less impressive than Thomas Hearns, (despite similar outward appearances). I would think this would be a fairly even battle of skills. Khan is faster but Breland had perhaps the better craft. A draw would not be out of the question.

That little run of explosive kayoes breland put together in his second wba run convinces me that although amir could easily hang with breland in a boxing match it just won't get to that stage broadcasts a big punches even if nowhere near a hearns or curves,and amir in truth is a pumped up lightweight

does anyone know what a very very good craftsman mark breland was? - and he could whack! ive got a lot of time for amir but amir does not have a lot of time in this fight. 4 at most

You don't need to be a Hearns level puncher to hurry Khan, do you?

breland would wait for khan to gas and decapitate him,from what I can remember he was a fine technician,to savvy and skilled for khan
