You have to put "we" in your posts - let people post for themselves or are you searching for some sort of moral support.
Time and time again people like you and others have stated to me ... "if you dont like it ignore the posts and move on to a persons you wish to answer" ...
I will not be dictated to by people like you ... if you and others dont like it move on and ignore me as a lot of others do!! - they cannot stand me and block me out.
People like you "Ali" are a classic form of cyber bully and I am being serious - for years my opinions and posts have been liked by the minority and the majority either ignore me or people like you desperately try to gain favour of other posters to bully me off the forum ...
Unfortunately I am here to stay and will not be driven off by the likes of you.

Lets try and set out the broad possibilities.columbo wrote: I have a feeling it was because Price was getting beaten up in sparring or atleast showing signs that Booth wasnt sure he could fix. Not expecting you to clarify that though Spud
I) Price was not happy with something.
II) Booth was not happy with something.
III) Sauerland advised Price against the linkup.
I think that's everything and I personally would be surprised if it was III as I think if both Booth and Price were happy with everything the likelihood of Kalle rocking up and advising on training matters when he is the promoter.....well I just don't see it.

Couldn't agree on what to do for Christmas. Booth obviously wanted to have Crhistmas in Cyprus with Haye whilst Price obviously wanted to spend it with his nan.Spud wrote: Hello Boxing Prospect,

Like most Price is a Home Boy, Liverpool is His environment.
Re: Price has left Booth already
Johnny Nelson hit the road didn't he and look where he ended up. Maybe Price should do the same, I don't know his set up but I'm just saying. You've got to be prepared to move to improve these days - and that goes for anything not just boxing.Scrap wrote:Like most Price is a Home Boy, Liverpool is His environment.
edit - Johnny was just an idea who sprang to mind, I'm sure there's a ton of examples.

Johnny was always based in Sheffield. He went on trips as a paid sparring partner and boxed abroad, but that's it. Paul Ingle is one who couldn't handle training away. Even with his own team. They tried it once and had to bring him home.n1ebf wrote:Johnny Nelson hit the road didn't he and look where he ended up. Maybe Price should do the same, I don't know his set up but I'm just saying. I'd be looking to get Price a top sports phycologist as well, the 2nd Thompson fight he seemed to fall apart mentally after the 3rd. He ended the fight with his back to the opponent, which is never a good sign.

I dont know of anyone improving leaving home. Losing there social side doesnt help.mickey1975 wrote:Johnny was always based in Sheffield. Amir Khan going to the Wildcard seemed to help his game; Andries going to the Kronk undoubtedly helped his. I'm also pretty sure a number of boxers like Benn used to benefit from going to Tenerife to train and thus being removed from the 'distractions' of home.Scrap wrote:I dont know of anyone improving leaving home. On the flip-side, Frankie Gavin is a good example of a fighter who clearly needs 'home comforts'.
I don't think there's a definitive answer as each individual will have different responses.

In respect of David Price ... I really do not think it was the training element that was his problem ... good range of shots etc etc ... it was as someone else pointed out on this thread and that was the mental side of things. I am convinced Adam Booth was the right choice ... I have seen how he is with boxers, I also dont think its Sauerland who are the problem either.
Re: Price has left Booth already
did price just not settle in london then (i presume he was training in lambeth) .Spud wrote:Good post!!Deserter wrote:Amir Khan going to the Wildcard seemed to help his game; Andries going to the Kronk undoubtedly helped his. I'd never allow spudwina to be bullied off this forum!! I want to keep him here so he can feel the pain
Personally I think adam booth is perceived as an agent & will guide & cut out promoters were he can, being abit to cute at times & anyone investing into a fighter / product doesn't really want booth there because when the fight fighter comes into fruition booth the old Turkish cyp turns them over good & proper!!! Swear he's an Arif!

Re: Price has left Booth already
i will probably upset some one here but here goes my opinion...
price picking tyson's ex trainer - why? - price is not tyson, and won't become a tyson - end of.
price prior to fighting thompson looked fairly decent domestically.. - needs to be rebuild and work on his cardio
and defence - why not fight sprott??
price is much better than towers.
however much i like ingle fighters, i think towers is not going to do anything - hope he proves me wrong -
again like price in both of his last 2 fights his cardio was very bad and we are talking only rounds 3-6 - moving
up commonwealth/european and then onto world level you need supreme fitness.
on a side note i am suprised no one has hired evander holyfields ex coaches - Tim Hallmark strength and conditioning and his trainer.
Evander holyfield had massive heart and granite chin (you can't buy/train this I know !), good defense, very strong and never gassed and fought intelligent fights imo...

Re: Price has left Booth already
Interesting to hear you say Towers held his own in sparring spud. I was always thinking he would be the weak link in that camp when I saw who David had lined up.
You say Towers held his own but from a fans point of view he has never really demonstrated that in a ring.
Can you not elaborate on the Price/Booth split then or will that affect your relationship with the dark lord if you were to say?
