Jeffries and Da Preem were both famous for their strength. But it's neither of them...this fighter is much less famous!

Good call on Giant Jack. He had a good role in a Gene Hackman film about the French Foreign Legion called March or Die.

I renember being surprised when I found out Danza had been as good as he was as a boxer.

Another comedian who boxed (just one pro fight) was Larry Fine of the Three Stooges. He was always the one taking the most abuse in their short films, and yet was an undefeated professional fighter!

Okay, I'll try Nikolai Valuev - he must be physically very strong! If we're not talking heavyweights how about Laszlo Papp?
O'Halloran also had a great part in one of the Superman movies.

I'm also sure Valuev was very strong. But still not the answer. This boxer was never champion...or contender...or good!

I've heard Papp was very strong. Kostya Tzsyu has some legendary stories of his strength as well!

I have heard that Dean Martin fought professionally under the name Kid Crochet but I can't find any records.

Strongest would be Paul Anderson, the strongman & Olympic weightlifting gold medalist. He was from Georgia, so was probably nicknamed the "Georgia Peach'.

Jack Palance was reportedly a boxer around the time of WWII, I think the war may have killed his career off.
