Fight looks good on paper but Brudov has been on the decline for a number of years and is at the end of his career. Bellew should win comfortably enough. It's a good intro to the cruiserweight scene for him.

Neither Bellew or Cleverly could survive the kind of wars Huck regularly engages in. They can't do give and take.

I think Bellew will do even worse at Cruiserweight after the initial steady start and he begins to step up. Huck and Lebedev will stop both Bellew and Cleverly and then you've got another Kovalev/Golovkin type power puncher coming through in Dmitry Kudryashov (12 KO's from 12 win).

Hernandez and Huck are on a collision course if they both continuing winning, meaning the WBO and IBF belts will be with one or the other. Surely Cleverly will go the WBO route? To be honest, I'd only expect them both to beat Eddie Chambers in the top 10 (boxrec's), the rest they would struggle or get beat by IMO.

I see only madness in Cleverlys decision to move up. He is a small, light hitting, light heavy weight. Tony Bellew obviously fought as a heavyweight Am so might carry something up or maybe drained at light heavy. I don't see it myself but he's got more chance than Clev of adapting to the weight class. Talent wise I think Nathan is better than Tony but has been going steadily backwards while training under his dad. I hope Booth keeps him at LH and works on his defence and punching technique, it's his only hope.

I'm not a fan of hearns guidance, he provides plenty of dates but don't know how to manage IMO.
Bellew just got beat up two months ago & needs a good rest lump aload of weight on & back to the drawing board & feel his way into the division which is the biggest leap in the sport.hes body must be seriously jaded from making 12-7 for so long, I just hope it don't result in him looking flat .

Huck has fought at HW and gave Povetkin a decent fight, and will be moving back up to HW again soon I heard Kalle say, possibly 2015. Cleverly made his debut at light middleweight (152lbs) and has never been a 'puncher', I can't see how he can go 12 rounds with any of these lumps.

Tony has looked drained for a while and has got a bigger one punch that Clev, but even then, Bellew hasn't stopped any of his last 4 at LH. Can you imagine either of them taking the shots such as the Lebedev/Jones fight? I'm pretty sure not many would to be honest though!

I see them avoiding the European guys, gaining a decent ranking and then fighting some sort of eliminator before the end of 2014. Good luck to both of them, they should be in some good fights that is for sure.

I am with you - I see both Bellew and Cleverly having 2 or 3 fights this year (avoiding all domestic opposition - including each other) and then getting a position for a "World" title before getting splattered.

It is a shame because there are some good fights out there at the weight.

very possible but hernandez and huck are on their last legs, jones is fighting one pace (albeit very tough) with little variety, wlod does nothing 'til the 2nd half, & lebedev's eye could continue to cause him trouble. lebedev fighting jones again, some of us remember eubank's eye getting much worse in that rematch with his war with carl Thompson, also at this brutal weight obviously. result - eubank stopped for the first time, career over.

hernandez was gassing & stumbling when alexeev put a few jabs together.

on the other hand if kovalev could put cleverly away early, no doubt that lebedev can do the same...

reckon cleverly and bellew have seen something, though, a way they can navigate these deep waters vs tough but ageing champs.
