Iain Butcher
Re: Iain Butcher
I was very impressed with Ian against Satchell I had seen a little bit if him before and I think he surprised me that night.. Some fighters are able to up there game when they move through the levels and Ian certainly did. I had him winning by 1 round so a very close fight and I agree he did switch off a little. I think he would win the rematch now he's had that experience.. Is a tough division to get tough fights and the opponent for next week doesn't look great. I hope that doesn't set him back in anyway for his preparation for Satchell. I'm sure Satchell needs 1 more win to get the belt outright so can't see him vacating. But stranger things have happened in boxing!! Be good to see 3 or 4 Scots with Lonsdale belts this year ..
Re: Iain Butcher
I would think this upcoming fight will be good for him only as he's done 1 round in 8 months. Said himself he needs ring-time before his British title fight.daviddee wrote:I was very impressed with Ian against Satchell I had seen a little bit if him before and I think he surprised me that night.. I think we can all guess who one of them is, Butcher would surely be another, struggling after that though, unless Simmons decides to go the British title route.billy nelson wrote:Who are the 3-4 you see winnig British titles?daviddee wrote:I was very impressed with Ian against Satchell I had seen a little bit if him before and I think he surprised me that night..
