The Joshua-Whyte thing is pretty interesting. Joshua's 2nd or 3rd amateur bout against Dillian's 1st I believe.

I assume it was a novice level bout? Is that why Whyte had problems with the ABA? Him having been a British heavyweight kick boxing champ and having had experience in MMA etc then operating at novice level or was it something else?

It's so hard to tell what Joshua is like at this stage. David Price was bowling everyone over similar to this.

So far so good Joshua seems to throw a lot more punches than price. I thought Price was the real deal so I don't think I can say much on this topic.

Join the club mate, I was in the same camp as well until a Tony Thompson left hand left Price on the deck and me with egg on my face, as I also thought Price is the real deal as well (and I still do) because I felt Frank Maloney took a gamble on putting Price in with Thompson to make a statement and it backfired horribly. As for Anthony Joshua, it is early days but he does look the business.

I was big on Price too but Joshua is a lot more talented in my book.

Better combinations, better movement, less mechanical. More of a natural athlete. Undoubtedly better chin based on what I've seen from the amateurs. Faster.

Overall he just looks more confident in there and less vulnerable. As Jim Watt would say there's MAAR DEVIL ABOOT HIS WURUK
