Interviews in the ring, why can't that be brought back in this country? It loses something with the boxer sat on the ring apron nowadays.

Also Nobbins, seen some great small hall fights in recent years that deserved the boxers picking up something extra.

Whatever happened to the old upright classic British stance - You rarely see it these days. Boxing the way you were taught as a kid, bouncing on your toes. Another thing you don't see/hear too often is the breathing out through your nose thing, you used to hear it all the time, like a high pitched zipping noise. All you get now is dickheads like Broner going "wah aah" like some sort of Russian woman tennis player.

The similarities between Broner & a Russian woman tennis player genuinely never occurred to me before, but now you say it...

That grunting thing, man, Victor Ortiz does it as well, it's not only undignified & unedifying it's asking to get your jaw broken... Look at the side of Boner's face after Maidana finishes with him... Sigh.

One thing I don't miss. Attending them, if you were drinking, the night became a blur. I only have vague memories of Hatton-Kostya, Calzaghe-Lacy and Calzaghe-Kessler and I was at all three. I had to watch them on the telly when I got home.
